Reviews of the video (many from teachers and club organizers):
Gary (runs DanceRoc in Perth, Australia):
I have now reviewed the tape and I am delighted with
it. You are an excellent teacher with a solid focus on technique.
Contrasting the moves with freestyle is most helpful also. The speed
of the moves is just about right, any faster and one would be pressing
replay constantly. The two ladies helping were very disciplined
and pleasant to watch.
As a first up starters video, I thought the moves were a good
choice, i.e. they look good, not too difficult but the odd one will
really stretch the new dancer to Double Trouble. All in all, a great
effort John.
Graham (Sydney, Australia):
I found the tape VERY good indeed. There are messages that will
help ANY Modern Jive dancer whether Tripling* or not (e.g. the 'air'
lead, quiet and noisy hands etc). Your delivery and sound is very
good, very clear, just as it was at the workshop you did over here.
All in all well done on a very professional video.
*As I am sure you know, the Ozzies call Double Trouble "Triples".
Alan:
I have borrowed a friend's copy and am very impressed,
and would now like to own my own copy.
Dorothy:
Got my Double Trouble video, it is brilliant, thanks.
Geoff:
I have recently purchased your double trouble video
and have found it very good. I wondered if you could put me on your
data base and let me know of any workshops you may be doing for
this type of dancing.
Duncan:
I managed to watch the Double Trouble video last night.
Excellent, please let me know when you release any more Double Trouble
videos or DVDs!
Andy:
I just wanted to say thanks for sending the Double
Trouble DVD. It arrived yesterday. I have started to watch the first
disc already. It's great. Once again, many thanks :o)
Hi, just wanted to say that myself and my 2 ladies had great
fun watching and learning (lots) from the Double Trouble DVD. It's
FAB. Thanks again!! :o)
Johnathan:
The Double Trouble DVD is brilliant; even if you never
try it the tips on lead and follow and how to lower a lady are worth
the price alone. You should do more DVDs, especially on technique.
Many thanks to those who sent these unsolicited comments –
I hope you don’t mind me reproducing them here. J
